Muhammad Muheisein is a photographer who doesnโ€™t just document the world, he changes it. Born in Jerusalem in 1981, he has been with the Associated Press since 2001, capturing major events in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa and the United States. His lens has witnessed the war in Iraq, the Syrian civil war, the revolution in Yemen, as well as such historical moments as the funerals of Yasser Arafat and Nelson Mandela.

Muheisein is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, a National Geographic photographer and the founder of the Everyday Refugees Foundation, an organization that uses photography to help refugees and internally displaced people. He also serves on the juries and advisory boards of prestigious international awards such as the World Press Photo and Visa pour lโ€™Image.

Muheisein believes that photography is not just an image, but a voice, a testimony, a message that lives forever. He strives to change stereotypes, raise awareness and unite people through his photographs. His works inspire action, remind us of our common humanity and the power of hope even in the most difficult circumstances.
