SECTARIAN DEFACEMENT ˋKYIV
Sectarian Defacement formed in the summer of 2024 in Kyiv. The band consists of three musicians, each with very different levels of experience—some had previously played in bands, recorded instruments, and performed live, while others had only just picked up their instruments. Despite this contrast, the group managed to record and release their debut EP within the first year of their existence.
SD’s sound blends brutal death metal and grindcore, with moments that edge into goregrind. Influences include Deeds of Flesh, Defeated Sanity, Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Dahmer, Ahumado Granujo, Brodequin, and many others.

A band from Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, founded in 2023. Since then, they've evolved from traditional deathgrind to a blast-heavy, nastily shrieking form of goregrind, drawing inspiration from Last Days of Humanity.
